New York and Maine visit!

Last summer Genaro and I went out to the East Coast to visit his Grandma for her 90th birthday. Then we shot down to New York to spend some time with his sister and her husband. We had a blast and wish we could do it every summer!


Genaro and his sister Jessica at an almost rained-out Yankee's game. We were soaked to the bone during the run from the subway to the ticket agency, so it was a soggy evening, but at least we experienced the old Yankee stadium before it is torn down.

Lake Alamoosook, near Orland, Maine. Genaro's mom's family grew up in the Northeast and they have lake houses here. Check out where we stayed during the big family gathering for Genaro's Grandma's 90th birthday: The Alamoosook Lakeside Inn. So peaceful!
